summer Taos plaza

  1. Joel, thank you so much for your wonderful photography and droll comments. Ahh, Taos! It's such a challenge to get one's head around this strange little town with its many layers of time and culture. I feel you have truly captured its beauty, sorrow, rebellion and stubborn resistance to being anything but Taos. Many years ago I told my friends in Denver That I was moving to Taos and they asked me, "Why"? My knee jerk response was, "it's the closest foreign country", but there was much more than that. I also loved the layers of time and culture and the sense of being hidden in plain sight. Blessings to you for your ability to capture a spirit more devious in its flight pattern than a butterfly.
