Bittersweet. The sale of Main Street Bakery, the owners are retiring--well-earned congratulations, closes a Taos institution and a favorite place for breakfast. On a positive note, world-class Chef Joseph Wrede, of Joseph's Table on Taos Plaza, is reported to have purchased Main Street Bakery with the intention of keeping it running as a bakery and cafe.
And now...after trying to sell nine dollar mediocre sandwiches to the unsuspecting, Joe's Main Street Bakery is gone and the building in for sale.
